  EcoTV, Your Green TV Show

  Sensitisation to the environment counts among the main areas of support for the responsible citizenship programme of Sofap. Hence our partnership with the audiovisual and multimedia company, Capital Media in the production of the EcoTV environmental TV programme.
  
  EcoTV is a 3-minute programme broadcast daily since December 2010 on MBC1 TV channel after the evening weather forecasts. It aims at promoting eco-friendly gestures in the daily life of the Mauritian people to help address the environmental issues that face our planet.
  
  From Monday to Thursday, viewers broaden their knowledge of the environment and are provided with information on simple and practical eco-friendly gestures that can be done every day at home, at the office, in the street or in nature. Some of the recurrent themes of the programme are organic farming, renewable energies, etc.
  
  Every Friday, EcoTV reviews the highlights of the week, and on Saturdays, the programme focuses on the environmental commitment of Mauritian personalities and their contribution in preserving our natural capital. On Sundays, EcoNews offers viewers a summary of local and international environmental news.
